Paint Removal
Paint on a surface it does not belong on needs careful assessment. We review the paint, underlying material, and previous attempts before discussing whether removal is practical.
Paint Removal: scope and preparation
Your quote confirms the work included for your property. Open each section for details.
What’s included in the agreed scope
- Assessment of localized paint spots or residue
- Review of the underlying finish or fiber
- Discussion of suitable treatment and limitations
- A separately agreed removal scope
Optional extras to discuss
Identify each paint spot, the affected material and any related cleaning requested.
What is not automatically included
Removal results depend on the underlying finish or fiber; additional areas need a separate scope.
Our approach to paint removal
Tell us whether the paint is wet or dry, the type if known, and how long it has been present. A carpet fiber, coated floor, and piece of glass are very different surfaces. Removal may be limited where paint has bonded or where treatment could affect the original finish.
Paint Removal questions
Can you remove paint from any material?
No. The paint and underlying surface determine feasibility. We will discuss limitations before accepting the job.
Is this whole-house paint stripping?
This page describes assessment of unwanted paint spots and residue as part of cleaning work. Large-scale stripping or specialized abatement is not represented as an included service.
What if paint on carpet cannot be removed?
A localized carpet patch may be another option to assess when suitable matching material is available.
