Start by describing the problem: visible soil or spots, loose areas or wrinkles, or localized damage. Cleaning, stretching and patching are different services. Photos and an assessment help determine what is appropriate for your carpet.
Ask about cleaning for soil and spots
Tell us which rooms or measured areas need cleaning, where the traffic lanes are and whether there are stains or odors. Explain previous cleaning attempts. Cleaning does not guarantee that every stain will disappear or that worn carpet will return to its original appearance.
Ask about stretching for wrinkles or loose areas
Photograph the affected room and the wrinkles, and explain any access or furniture limitations. Stretching options depend on the carpet and installation condition. A photograph helps start the conversation; it does not establish that a particular repair will work.
Ask about patching for a localized damaged area
Include a close photo of the damage and a wider view of the surrounding carpet. Let us know whether matching material is available. Pile direction, wear and the surrounding carpet can affect how a patch looks.
What if more than one problem is present?
List all of the concerns in the same inquiry. We can discuss separate cleaning and repair options and the order of any work that is agreed. Repairs and protector application should be identified separately from cleaning in your quote.
What should I send?
- Your city and contact details.
- The affected rooms and approximate area.
- Wide and close-up photos.
- What happened and any treatments already tried.
- Furniture or access limitations and preferred timing.
We will discuss realistic expectations before you book. If the carpet needs work beyond the proposed service, that should be considered separately rather than promised as part of a cleaning.
